Every Thursday I try to share 3 things I am thankful for... sometimes they are monumental... and sometimes they are things like kettle korn popcorn... but regardless, I am thankful. And on Thursdays I choose to share my thankfulness in a post. Now... don't get me wrong... my thankfulness isn't limited to Thursdays... it's just that "Thankful Thursday" sounds way more catchy than "Thankful Monday." (well, it does.)
And today... dear blogland... I would love for you to join in on my thankful endeavor. And what a perfect week to open Thankful Thursday up to all of blogland, as I just realized that today marks the 52nd Thankful Thursday post... that's right... a full year of Thankful Thursdays!
So... here's how Thankful Thursday works...
:: Write up a little post about what you are thankful for. I always pick 3 things... (but that's just me, and how I started TT on the very first post). You can pick how ever many you want. I mean, I'm not the Thankful Nazi or anything.
:: Remember the simple things. This Thankful Thursday is yours... and you can be thankful for whatever you want... but what I love about doing this every week is that it forces me to really think about the simple pleasures in life... both big and small.
:: Add your awesomeness to the Thankful Thursday linky list below. Please be sure to add your actual Thankful Thursday post... not just a link to your blog home page.
:: Tell your friends. Link back to this blog and invite your other bloggy friends to join in Thankful Thursday. If this works out and you guys want to do this again and again... I will work on getting some type of Thankful Thursday button... promise.
:: Be sure to visit some of the other blogs on the list. Share the love. It's always to encouraging to read what everyone else is thankful for.
:: Be thankful.
This Thursday I am thankful for:
1) Awesome rental cars. This is definitely one of the perks to traveling for work. Every time I have to fly to Atlanta, I get to drive a different rental car. This week, I am sporting a black Dodge Charger... you know the ones that look like the flashy police cars? I must say... it's not bad... definitely faster than the Prius, and absolutely cleaner.
2) Dinners with girlfriends. Aren't they the best? And my week has been full of them! I love these dinner dates... Nothing beats good conversation, good wine and good friends. I have one more dinner planned for tonight before I have to jet back to Louisville. Can't wait.
3) Georgia drinking water. Okay, maybe it's just Northeast Georgia water... or mountain water... or Habersham water... not sure entirely... I just know it tastes waaaaay better than the water I've been drinking in Kentucky. Seriously. I feel like I have to gulp down gallons of it while I am here, just to get my fill before I fly back.
What are you thankful for?
